Test evidence shows that light rays between 400 and 452 (particularly 440) can cause age-related macular degeneration. Industry standard sunglasses stop blocking harmful light rays under 400, but the Neox™ lens continues to block 100% of the harmful light rays up to 430 & up to 97% of harmful light rays at 452.
